The Fort Langley Legacy Foundation presents this Saturday, November 15th, a non-motorized Victorian Parade through the village of Fort Langley. See Kwantlen drummers, Scottish country dancers, pipes & drums and more. At 3pm gather inside the walls of the Fort for a bonfire, stories, hot chocolate, BC 150 Play and more birthday fun. In the evening, don your old-fashioned garb and join revellers at the Community Hall in town for a Victorian gala!

Admission - The Fort Langley Legacy Foundation is sponsoring the admission for the day to the Historic Site

Evening Gala at the Community Hall is free for those in costume, or $10 at the door.

I was glad to see so many families and young people at yesterday’s Remembrance Service at the Museum Square in Cloverdale. I found a post about this event on Cheryl’s blog. She wrote: “We headed down to the cenotaph in Cloverdale with the rain only a light drizzle. It had let up from a torrential downpour a couple of hours earlier. So it kept with the theme around here that it always rains on Remembrance Day.” Read the rest of her story here.
